Chardonnay Selection

Chardonnay is considered to be one of the most esteemed white grape varieties in the world. It is the principal white grape of Burgundy, France, and also manifests itself with singularity and grace in other growing regions the world over, including Champagne (France), the Languedoc-Rossillon (France), Tre Venezie and Tuscany (Italy), Santa Barbara County (United States), Monterey County (United States) and numerous other winegrowing regions. There are many ways in which one may choose to vinify Chardonnay, but its most classic examples highlight the varieties rich notes of custard, buttered toast, citrus (lemon, lime and bergamot) and tropical fruit.
